Pablo Picasso
Pablo Ruiz Picasso 25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973, was a Spanish painter, draughtsman, and sculptor who lived most of his life in France. He is widely known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and Guernica (1937), a portrayal of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.
The Young Ladies of Avignon
Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (The Young Ladies of Avignon) is a large oil painting of 1907 by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso (1881–1973). The work portrays five nude female prostitutes from a brothel on Carrer d'Avinyó (Avinyó Street) in Barcelona.
Painted in Paris during the summer of 1907, Picasso had created hundreds of sketches and studies in preparation for the final work.

Vincent Van Gogh

Sunflowers is a series of oil paintings made by the Dutch painter Vincent vanGogh. In the series there are three similar paintings. Van Gogh painted with Twelve Sunflowers, which is currently in the Neue Pinakothek Museum in Munich and the first Vase with fifteen sunflowers are in the National Gallery, London in August1888, while living in Arles in southern France . The following similar paintings were painted in January the following year. The paintings are all painted on canvas of about 93 × 72 cm.
Diego Rivera
(Guanajuato, 1886 - Mexico City, 1957) Mexican painter, considered one of the major muralists of Mexico. He studied for a period of fifteen years (1907-1922) inseveral European countries (especially Spain, France and Italy), where he became interested in the avant-garde and the academic left. Spain is interested in Cubism, and not content with this current realism decided to return to 1922 and returned to Mexico with José Vasconcelos decide to do their work in art buildings to be accessible to the people was recruited abroad by John D. Rockefeller to paint at the entrance to the RCA Building in New York, played the same work in the Palace of Fine Arts. He died on November 24, 1957 in Mexico City.

Diego Rivera as a major figure represented the Skeleton Catrina (death), dressedvery elegantly, with the feathered serpent essential mythical representation of the prehispanic culture of Mexico. La Catrina is an original work created by Jose Guadalupe Posada, an artist who excels in creating Mexico's late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, is taking the arm of catrina. A small part of the recreation of Man at the Crossroads now renamed as Man, Controller of the Universe the famous Lenin portion (depicting communism) which upset Rockefeller.
The Rockefellers wanted to have a mural put on the ground-floor wall of Rockefeller Center. Nelson Rockefeller wanted Henri Matisse or Pablo Picasso to do it because he favored their modern style, but neither was available. Diego Rivera was one of Nelson Rockefeller's mother's favorite artists and therefore was commissioned to create the huge mural. He was given a theme: "Man at the Crossroads Looking with Hope and High Vision to the Choosing of a New and Better Future."Rockefeller wanted the painting to make people pause and think.
Leonardo Da Vinci
Artist, Italian thinker and researcher, for is insatiable curisity and multifaced genius, represents. Much of his career developed in other Italian cities like Milan. The paintings of Leonardo Da Vinci which has made him stand out a top figure in the history of art. In his paintings preserved but are most notably:
La Gioconda or Mona Lisa, The Annunciation, The Virgin and Santa Ana, The Adoration of the perfection of drawing and with a certain halo of mystery, in the technique of sfumato, which was to dispense with the contours crisp paint "Æuattrocentro" and blur the profiles involving the figures in a fog feature. Leonardo himself theorized conception of painting as "imitation of nature" in a painting treaty would only be published in the seventeenth century
Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa was painted by artist Leonardo da Vinci.
This portrait was doubtless painted in Florence between 1503 and 1506. It is thought to be of Lisa Gherardini, wife of a Florentine cloth merchant named Francesco del Giocondo - hence the alternative title, La Gioconda. However, Leonardo seems to have taken the completed portrait to France rather than giving it to the person who commissioned it. It was eventually returned to Italy by Leonardo's student and heir Salai. It is not known how the painting came to be in François I's collection.
The Last Supper
The Last Supper is an original mural by Leonardo da Vinci executed between 1495 and 1497, is on the wall on which originally was painted in the refectory of the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan (Italy). The painting was made for his patron, Duke Ludovico Sforza of Milan. Not a traditional fresh, but a mural executed in tempera and oil on two layers of plaster preparation spread over plaster. It measures 460 cm. high by 880 cm. wide. Many experts and historians of art, Leonardo's Last Supper is considered the best paintings in the world.
