Diego Rivera





(Guanajuato, 1886 - Mexico City, 1957) Mexican painter, considered one of the major muralists of Mexico. He studied for a period of fifteen years (1907-1922) inseveral European countries (especially Spain, France and Italy), where he became interested in the avant-garde and the academic left. Spain is interested in Cubism, and not content with this current realism decided to return to 1922 and returned to Mexico with José Vasconcelos decide to do their work in art buildings to be accessible to the people was recruited abroad by John D. Rockefeller to paint at the entrance to the RCA Building in New York, played the same work in the Palace of Fine Arts. He died on November 24, 1957 in Mexico City.
